Drive to Knuthenborg Park & Safari with your nearest and dearest and enjoy the year’s best day out – with no canned laughter or plastic kitsch scenery.

In northern Europe’s biggest safari park, your time is your own. Get very close to the wild animals with your family.

Via the E47 motorway– going south – leave at junction 47 (Maribo Ø):

JUNCTION 47, MARIBO ØST

Leave the motorway at Junction 47, Maribo Øst
Turn right towards Sakskøbing, drive for about 600 metres
Turn left towards Hunseby, for about 3 miles (4.8 km)
Turn right down Knuthenborg Allé, for about ¾ mile (1.2 km)

You will then have reached the entrance

Most visitors to Knuthenborg Park & Safari come in their own cars or by coach in a party, but there is also a lot to see and do when you get out of the vehicle. It is not a good idea to leave your car or caravan outside the park. You can park your vehicle in one of the central parking areas.

There are parking areas in Småland, near Abenskoven (the Monkey Forest), at the Bird Paradise and, Svanesøen (Swan Lake).

There are outdoor tables and benches close to each parking area where you can enjoy your picnic.

Turn right along Vestre Landevej (Route 9) for 1 mile (1.6 km)
Turn right down Skibevej (Route 289) for 1.37 miles (2.2 km)
Turn right down Skolevej for 1.3 miles (2.1 km)
Turn left down Knuthenborgvej for 200 metres
Turn left down Knuthenborg Allé for ¾ mile (1.2 km)

Information for visitors on foot
Most visitors to Knuthenborg Park & Safari come by car. Security is very tight in a number of areas, so it is not possible to visit all parts of the park on foot. You can rent a bicycle instead, or take a guided tour with the “Caravan”.
