At Knuthenborg Park & Safari, we place great importance on the safety of both our visitors and our employees. It is important that everyone follows the rules that apply in the grounds, so you can get the best out of your visit to the park.
You enter Knuthenborg Park & Safari at your own risk. This applies to both your person and your property. In the park you can use a car, coach, motorcycle, bicycle, or walk. Only cars and coaches are allowed into the Savannah, but there are several ways of seeing the animals from outside the fence if you are on foot or on a bicycle.
Show consideration for the animals and watch out for young animals and those lying down – for this reason, keep to the roads and paths. In the animal area where getting out of your vehicle is allowed, the following rules apply:
- Children must be accompanied and supervised by adults.
- Keep your car in sight at all times.
- Dogs must, of course, remain in the car.
- Do not touch or feed the animals.
- You must show respect for the animals. Do not approach them from an unexpected angle, e.g. from behind, so they are startled.
You are welcome to enjoy food and drink outside the animal areas.

For safety reasons, your dog is not allowed into Tiger Forest, but it can wait in the “dog parking area”, on the right-hand side of the entrance to Tiger Forest.
When you visit Knuthenborg Park & Safari, you will be given a safety brochure that describes how you should conduct yourself during your visit to Tiger Forest.
 The tigers roam freely in Tiger Forest. They are beautiful but dangerous predators, so only cars and coaches are allowed in. Cars must have a hard top (or roof box).
